The former Ukip leader lambasted the unelected House of Parliament throughout the LBC programme after Lords sought to amend Theresa May’s Brexit bill to include a parliamentary vote on a final deal with the EU.
The Government is expected to fight the amendment during discussions next week after peers backed the motion 366 to 268 votes.
“I tell you what I think we should have, I’m warming to this thing, let’s have another referendum,” Mr Farage fumed on Tuesday night.
“I’ll tell you what, OK Paddy Ashdown, all the others, let’s have another referendum, let’s have a referendum this year on whether we should continue with this unelected House of Lords. I’d love to get involved in that.”
